ToggleWHAT HAPPENED?
A U.S. Soccer spokesman confirmed in a statement that Turner was a participant in a portion of Saturday's USMNT training session. The goalkeeper is being viewed as day-to-day ahead of Monday's Copa America group decider.
Turner suffered the injury early in the USMNT's 2-1 loss to Panama. The goalkeeper was clattered into by Cesar Blackman, but played on through the first half. He was removed at halftime, though, and was seen limping after the match.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
With Turner's injury, the USMNT turned to Ethan Horvath, who came off the bench for the second half of Thursday's defeat. The Cardiff City goalkeeper would be extremely likely to start if Turner is deemed unable to play. The USMNT's third goalkeeper is another veteran: Toronto FC's Sean Johnson.

DID YOU KNOW?
Prior to his injury against Panama, Turner had played every minute for the USMNT in which he was available. Patrick Schulte earned the start back in a January camp, which didn't include nearly all of the team's top stars.

WHAT NEXT FOR THE USMNT?
The USMNT will face Uruguay in Kansas City on Monday and, as things stand, their fate isn't totally in their hands. A win against Uruguay could be enough to see them through, but only if Panama don't overturn a two-goal U.S. lead in their match against Bolivia. A USMNT draw would be good enough if Panama also draw with Bolivia, while a U.S. defeat to favorites Uruguay would require Bolivia to upset Panama in their match.
